Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac supervises Black Stars training despite reports of contracting COVID-19

Ghana coach Milligan Rajevac supervised Tuesday’s training after reports emerged he has tested positive for the COVID-19.

Reports went rife in the local media that the 63-year-old had to isolate with new assistant coach Mike Stankovic taking over the session.

Photos from the teams training camp in Doha, refute an earlier reports that Milovan Rajevac had contracted the virus.

The Serbian trainer was in full force supervising the team preparation ahead of the friendly game against Algeria to be played at the Education City Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

Ghana currently has a full house with the arrival of Star players Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Daniel Amartey, Baba Iddrisu and Thomas Partey in camp.

Swindon Town goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot also arrived in camp yesterday.

The Black Stars who take on African Champions Algeria in an international friendly on Wednesday, January 5, 2022

Milovan Rajevac is expected to be on the technical bench to assess his players during the game.

Ghana is expected to travel to Cameroon on Friday January 7 ahead of their opening game against North Africa giants Morocco on January 10.

The Black Stars are housed in Group C with Morocco, Gabon and Comoros.
