I Believe in them because they have what it takes to be here - Andre Ayew

Ghana Black Star's Captain, Andre Ayew said he is confident in the youngsters and he is sure they will make it.

He said this when addressing the press ahead of Ghana's first group game against Morocco. Black Stars coach Milovan Rajevac, noted for his faith in youngsters named 18 players in his squad for the tournament. Andre Ayew reiterated his support for the players and believes they will play a key role if Ghana is to win the tournament.

“These guys have the opportunity to prove themselves to the world and we are there to help them, we try to let them understand what an AFCON means,” he said.

“I believe in them because they have what it takes to be here so I know they will make it and we are here to guide them.”

Ghana will begin another quest to end a 40-year-old trophy drought with a group C game against Morocco in Younde today.
